Wooden Earring Stand

Cheap Wooden Earring Stand Review

This is really a beautiful earring tree. It holds approximately 26 pairs of earrings. Not only is it sturdy and attractive, but my earrings look great on it; and doesn't take up a bunch of room on my dresser. It was delivered in 6 pieces that screw together very easily. I received the order quickly and in good condition (no dents, damage or otherwise). What makes this purchase really great is that the product is sold by a company that engages in fairly traded, organic and green products. The card that arrives with the product states the following: "This is a Fair Trade product, hand crafted by artisans in central India. The wood used in this product is sourced in alliance with Indian Forest Services, ensuring environmental sustainability. The pattern is hand carved by skilled artisans. Income from these products provide these underprivileged artisans with sustainable employment, a dignified living and development opportunities." I have a lot of earrings and have opted to buy 2 more of these stands, rather than buying a stand with a larger capacity. I highly recommend this product!

Wooden Earring Stand Overview

Fair Trade Artisans: India. This product is finely made by ASHA Handicrafts, in Mumbai, India. ASHA, established in 1975 as a non-profit to promote Fair Trade practices, represents more than 5,000 workers in 19 different cities and villages in India. They help small-scale handicraft cooperatives that are disadvantaged because they lack financial and marketing knowledge. Asha in Sanskrit means "Hope", and Asha has brought hope into what was largely a "hopeless" situation by providing a marketing outlet for the craft of talented artisans.
